The Big Pig Cook Out

Today was the Big Pig Cook Out, and it was a smashing success.
Why a Big Pig cook out you ask?

It all started on April 1, no joke.
Sebastian and Javier (two 8 yr. olds) took Magnolia, the youngest of the pitbulls, out for a morning stroll.
Magnolia who loves pigs, got a whif of a pig in the street and raced up to it, pulling the two boys with her, and took a bite right out of her ear.
Eventually Sebastian and Javier pulled Magnolia away from the pig, but the pig's ear was damaged.
So we had a vet look at the pig's ear. Lots of damage, could get infected. Better to kill the pig.

So the next day, two of our neighbors killed the pig. And we send it to a local oven and then put it in the freezer.
Last night we took it out of the freezer and cooked it up with side salads and mashed potatoes. We sold plates for $2 and had limeade and beer to help the pork go down. The plates were delicious and we have no pork leftover, just a pig head in the freezer.

We made more than $60 during our Pig Cook Out - $30 of which will go towards the new pig purchase for our neighbor, and the rest of the gains stay in our pockets - to pay ourselves for all our hard work today!
