This past week has been a bundle of stress. Right in time before I head to Minnesota for a short summer vacation. Magnolia, our now-motherless pit bull (the little babies -minus one- were all sold), fell sick and just started recuperating this past week. She is still skin and bones, but at least is running around and wagging her tail. Our last little baby pitbull is having trouble walking, so we are nursing her (literally in the middle of then night) to strengthen her up. Shakira killed our cat. Our electricity went out. And we have plumbing problems.
Hunter RIP. The kitchen is no longer a pool thanks to headlamps. And, Hugo and I are cooking by gas light, thanks to our friend Vicky. Our electricity will hopefully be back on Wednesday or Thursday this week. Minnesota, I am so ready for you!
